2.18.0 Update

• Progress in features landing https://lustre.lefthy.de/gerrit_vis/?q=&label=2.18
• CSDC- seems likely to miss out; impacted by PTO
• FTM - key patch not passing its own tests
• File Join - impacted by PTO; has not been refreshed since introduction of AI reviews so likely will need some attention when rebased
• EC - test cases failing but seems on track to get key patch merged ahead of feature freeze
• GSS IAM - progress being impacted by frequent refreshes of patch series
• Large Foilio - home stretch; just four patches remain
• LQA - feature complete; remaining patches enhancements to core feature
• PCC-RO - Seems to be complete; confusing because many open patches were merged previously under an aggregated patch; Andreas abandoning patches to see what is left
• P2PRDMA - delayed due to collisions with other master-next landings
• RHEL 10.2 - in master-next
• TCU - likely will miss out; target is completion by end of Sept

Upstream Kernel

• Big patch just landed that improves interoperability; will test against kernel CI once Tim back in the office
