2.18.0 Update

• Progress in features landing https://lustre.lefthy.de/gerrit_vis/?q=&label=2.18

• Need to make RHEL 10.2 servers default for testing; currently still testing on RHEL 8.10; this can be removed when backports to b2_15 are no longer a concern

Upstream Kernel

• Several patches in next batch; good news is all old kernel cruft is gone; James aiming to submit upstream ahead of LAD; Artem has submitted dirdata patches ups

lustre.org

• Mailing lists porting to new hosting provider

• Discussion around next LTS; agreement that 2.18 is the best option; will update the roadmap on lustre.org to reflect this
• Oleg is starting 2.15.9 landings; open to suggestions for anything considered important

• Next Meeting July 9th; June 25th meeting canceled due to ISC26
