2.17.0 Update
- Andreas inquired if anyone was doing testing with ARM clients with 4K or 64K pages. This is in relation to an interop bug that HPE discovered.
- Tim asked about the state of IPv6 support (LU-18417). James gave a summary of the current status and mentioned that Stanford might be testing this.
- Discussed compression bug and problems with obdfilter-survey running with compression on. There is a question about whether compression should be enabled by default.
- Oleg's test system: http://testing.linuxhacker.ru/lustre-reports/rocky8/35/results.html
Upstream Kernel
- LSF talk has been accepted. James and Tim will be going to Montreal to make the pitch. James will probably give an update on the outcome at LUG (or possibly the Developer Day).
- Discussion about potential changes to the development workflow that might be required for upstreaming.
