2.14.0 Release Update

• The feature freeze analysis action from last meeting is complete.
  • Pool Quotas: How close is this to feature freeze?
    • Cory: everything should be pushed. It is just a matter of pushing tests and reviews.
  • Erasure Coding: A number of patches are queued up. We still need patches on a few items.
  • DNE: Required work is mainly there and being pushed to master.
  • UDSP: Now called LNet Interface Selection. There are 21 patches on the MR branch that will need to land to master.
  • Encryption: We are a few weeks away from having file encryption in shape for landing as well.
• The original target was end of Feb target for feature cut off and march was feature freeze. If we push the schedule out a month we could get in some of these that are not quite ready today.
• Are there other concerns over pushing out the timeline?
• All agree. James noted that it would be nice to delay the freeze since they have some enhancements that they would like to do for HSM as well.
