2013 goals: Determine what application I/O benchmarks exist and are available for others to use. Note which benchmarks have information published but are not generally available.
Identify I/O patterns that ARE represented in the existing application I/O benchmarks.
Identify I/O patterns important in applications that are NOT represented in the existing application I/O benchmarks.
2014 goals: Create a benchmark by extracting from existing community application to add the ability to benchmark a missing pattern.
