2.18.0 Update

  • RHEL 10.1 server support merged this week; builders setup but not autotest yet
  • EC-RO Patches undergoing reviews and looking good; this feature seems to be closest to land of all the major features targeted for the release
  • CSDC Ivan will get status for next call
  • Peer to Peer DMA patches finalizing and getting reviews (LU-19848)
  • TCU Patches refreshed in the past week
  • Fault Tolerant MGS Ivan will get status for next call
  • Large Folio support first patch merged
  • File Join Chris will get update for next call


Upstream Kernel

  • Panel proposal for Minnesota Linux conference unsuccessful; several patches close to landing including eliminating automake and removing RHEL7 support

  • No activity

  • Lustre BOF accepted for ISC26 in June
  • Will discuss plans for developer day next meeting
