2.17.0 Update

  • James has noticed Patrick Farrell has pushed some Erasure Coding patches; plan is to collaborate and combine work to complete this effort


Upstream Kernel

  • libcfs/RHEL7 cleanups being deprecated; hope to complete before 2.17 is GA

  • No activity

  • Will need to replace Erasure Coding on Lustre roadmap; candidates are RHEL10 client support and Mike Pershin NID work
  • Charlie looked into IPv6 addresses not persisting after reboots for autotest (DCO-10948); now fixed
