2.16.0 Release Update

Discussion around best approach in light of ongoing test failures impacting master; agreed that reverting to earlier ZFS version is probably better than masking the symptoms; Tim will push a patch

Upstream Kernel

  • Still no word on whether LSF talk has been accepted

  • Still no resolution to mailing lists issues

Other Business

  • Final question on 2025 Survey will be about the upstream client work; will fine-tune the wording on the LWG slack channel
  • Discussion about LUG; many had not seen the announcement; concern that the mailing list issues are affecting information relating to this event; will pass along concerns to LUG committee
  • Next meeting will be Feb 20th
