2.16.0 Release Update

Peter
RC1 in testing; found a couple of issues that we had thought could be fixed by other changes going in but need their own fix so will need an RC2; will be flagging everything we're reviewing in Jira by marking it with fix version 2.16 until we either land a fix or decide that it is not necessary; We've observed a couple of surprising things in our initial IPv6 testing - lnet-selftest does not work and there does not seem to be a way to statically define IPv6 NIDs

Chris
Lack of IPv6 support for lnet-selftest is a known issue and I only ever use dynamic NID allocation so cannot comment on that

Peter
RC1 did include the LU-18217 fix that HPE needed for their testing; has anyone else done any RC1 testing

Cory
Not yet but expect to have some before the next call
