2.17.0 Update
- James has started refreshing Erasure Code patches
- There was some discussion about handling DoM files for filejoin operations. Andreas has been reviewing Shadow's patches but there needs to be another reviewer.
- Sebastian has been working on the dynamic nodemap code
- Test system has been having cooling issues so there have been intermittent outages
Upstream Kernel
- LWN had an article featuring Tim and James' talk on upstreaming the Lustre code
- Tim has been finishing patches to shuffle some stuff around in the Lustre code tree
- There was some talk about whether the client and server code should be pushed together. It's not clear if this is feasible and/or desirable to do.
