Lustre 2.8 - August 28th 2015

Landings

* A number of landings were made
* The last remaining patch associated with the multi-slot last received work (LU-5319) landed
* The majority of the fixes identified as being needed during the DNE2 demonstration milestone have now landed to master 
* The residual patches associated with DNE2 demonstration milestone are expected to land in the coming days

Testing

* Testing is complete on the 2.7.58 tag is ongoing

Blockers

* The current blocker count is 7. The dynamic list of blockers is at 2.8 Blockers and resolved blockers is at 2.8 Resolved Blockers
* If there are any issues not presently marked as blockers that you believe should be, please let me know

Other

* the release is in its stabilization period atm and the priority is on testing and bug-fixing
