OpenSFS creates Working Groups to carry out and oversee its various activities.

When the OpenSFS Board of Directors creates a Working Group, it selects a chair or co-chairs to lead the Working group for a term of one year. Representatives of OpenSFS Promoter and Adopter organizations are eligble to vote on actions taken within the Working Group. Representatives of OpenSFS Promoter, Adopter, and Supporter organizations are eligble to participate in all Working Groups.

Some of the Working Groups welcome attendance and feedback from non-members of OpenSFS.
