OpenSFS sponsored a meeting of Lustre software developers on January 22-23, 2015. The Lustre Developer Project Meeting was hosted by LLNL in Livermore, CA. Over thirty people were in attendance. Despite a shortage of coffee and tea, there was much conversation amongst the developers and the meeting was generally well received. Many of the attendees look forward to the next such meeting.

The meeting had a relaxed agenda with a mix of educational presentations and other discussion topics focused more on interaction and exchanges of ideas. After a couple of discussions in the morning of the second day, the group broke up into smaller teams to discuss topics of more narrow interest and to hack on some Lustre code together.
