2.16.0 Release Update

James
Still waiting on patches to land. James is working on functionality patches for IPv6. Widespread zfs testing failures on Autotest issue fixed. Somebody used the “test” keyword and caused issue with ZFS tests

Dustin
Is the plan to release Lustre-2.16 at LUG? Sounds unlikely considering there are still many patches landing.

Cory
Question about automatic testing of IPv6. There are systems in the community test resources that will enable testing.

James
There is a switch to enable this and James said that there needs to be some work on the mechanism on how to switch to IPv6 or IPv4 mode.

Chris
We can create a test parameter keyword to inform the test system to use IPv6.

Upstream Kernel

James

Neal has created an interval tree performance testNeal has created a patch for the LDLM interval tree performance enhancements. Good step forward. New debugfs marker file that you can pass strings into that will show up trace buffers.
