Minutes

2.12.0 Release Update
Peter

  • We are executing feature test plans against new features. There has been a few issues with Lazy Size on MDT that have been flagged and we intend to get them fixed before the release.
  • Oleg will be landing the next batch very soon, currently 30+ patches in his test pot.
  • Any other 2.12 testing to report out on from the community?
    • No feedback.

Upstream Lustre Client
James

  • One bug was found in the LNet layer with the cpu mapping table and is being worked on for a fix.

lustre.org
Ken

  • We are trying to get all the old HPDD links fixed by the next LWG call.

Other Business

  • LAD
    • Peter: I thought that main conference and developer day both went well. Are there any thoughts from those that were in attendance?
      • Olaf: I thought it was interested and a productive day.
  • Ruth: We are hoping to bring up more ARM clients, so you may see more activity there. We are using the mofed stack on IB. In our small scale testing we have not seen issues thus far, but we will be scaling that up soon.

Next meeting will be on 2018-10-18 at 11:00am Pacific
